Original US Soundtrack LP released in 1989 on Varese Sarabande Records. Cat: VS5220.
While the 1988 feature film sequel The Fly II is a pale imitation of David Cronenberg's groundbreaking predecessor, Christopher Young's score remains a supremely accomplished and inventive work deserving of a far better motion picture to accompany. To his credit, Young avoids rehashing Howard Shore's operatic score for The Fly, instead embracing a disquieting atonal approach that crackles with violence and dread. Young's melodies twist and turn with the breakneck velocity of a roller coaster, culminating in a wonderfully cathartic climax that communicates the horror and chaos the film itself never musters.

  There are no signs of spindle marks on labels. Record is in Near Mint condition. Cover has a small light sticker stain on front top right and an import sticker on front top left and is in Excellent condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brYoshikazu own paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
