Here is your opportunity to purchase the White Label Promotional Burrito Deluxe album from The Flying Burrito Brothers. This was the second studio album from The Flying Burrito Brothers and the last to feature Gram Parsons. Gram Parsons would go on to start his solo career after this album. This album is one of the very first to feature the genre style of country rock. This LP includes five original compositions from Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman. It also includes one original composition from Gram Parsons and Bernie Leadon. Bernie would go on to become one of the original members of the Eagles. This album also includes an outstanding version of Wild Horses, before it was recorded by The Rolling Stones. If you have never heard this album, you owe to yourself to hear it on vinyl. It is one of my all time favorites and I highly recommend it. This LP is the very 1st Monarch White Label Promotional pressing on A&M Records from 1970. The Monarch Record Manufacturing Company pressed some of the thickest and best sounding vinyl of the 60's and 70's. This West Coast WLP is ultra rare and will only grow in value and scarcity as time passes. This particular LP has A+M SP 4415-15 Triangle/Delta symbol 14646 as the matrix number etched in the dead wax, on side one. Side two of the LP has A+M SP 4416-15 Triangle/Delta symbol 14646-X etched on the dead wax. Both sides of the deadwax also have a MR inside of circle stamped on them and 2 inside a circle etched. The MR also signifies a Monarch Pressing. The vinyl is in Near Mint/Excellent condition. The LP has a couple of faint hairline scratches and paper scuffs on side one. Side two is visually Near Mint. The the extremely hard to spot blemishes on side one do not have any affect on the playback. The sound on the playback is at Near Mint or better. I would compare the sound to actually being in the recording studio with The Flying Burrito Brothers. It is absolutely brilliant. The LP labels are very clean with only a few faint spindle marks on each side. This album also includes the original A&M inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is in great condition. The LP cover is in Very Good Plus Condition. The album cover has some faint ring wear on the front and back. The ring wear is more noticeable on the back. The front of the cover also has a promotional indentation stamp on the top left corner. The stamp reads Not for Sale For Promotion Use Only. It is difficult to spot unless your looking for it. The seams and spine all have some wear. The top seam is in really nice condition without much wear, but the spine and bottom seam have some noticeable wear. The spine has been taped to prevent any further deterioration. Whoever repaired the spine did a very careful and professional job. The title on spine is about 70% legible. I have taken pictures to illustrate the condition of the spine. The bottom seam also has some wear, but it has not been taped and the only paper deterioration is a small half inch that connects to the spine. None of the seams are split. This album has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and will be shipped in a brand new white inner sleeve. The album jacket will come in a new 3 mil poly sleeve. The album will be professional shipped in an LP mailer with two 12 inch cardboard inserts. The LP will be positioned outside of the jacket when shipped. This album is ready for playing or storage.
