GRADING SCALE: M, NM-, EX, VG++,VG+, VG, G, P
M The M (Mint) grading is only used for unopened sealed vinyl records.
NM- Carefully used, looks clean, plays clean, shiny gloss, plays clean
EX Faint scuff or superficial mark, near M-, high gloss, plays clean
VG++ Glossy with minimal scuffing or light mark playing very nice, enjoyable
VG+ Most likely has paper sleeve marks and/or light needle drops. Does not have fingernail scratches or other scratches that might keep a listener from enjoying the music on the record. May have spotting and slight discoloration neither of which are audible. Plays well with very minimal surface.
VG Has marks and scratches which may be audible. May have loud clicks or pops.
G + Surface noise present, will not have skips or jumps. Lots of audible scratches.
Poor - will have audible, annoying scratches. Will probably skip or stick. song)
