San Francisco's infamous Fuck Ups. This is one of my favorite street punk
records of all time, especially on the brilliant "Once I Had a Brother." Gotta love
that chorus by The Fuckettes! Lead singer Bob Noxious (RIP) earned scorn when
he declared his intention to "knock out every lead singer from an out of town band."
He started by tackling Ian MacKaye onstage, and then, at The Elite Club, he tackled
Dinah Cancer of 45 Grave, who actually did lose consciousness when her head struck
the floor. It was a long fall from the stage at that club. I remember drummer Don Bolles
holding her in his arms and shouting, "I hope you're proud of yourself. You knocked out
a 107-pound girl."

All that said, this is still a fantastic record. The outer sleeve is in very good shape, especially
since it's just Xerox paper. Vinyl is solid with perfect labels and plays very well. Check
the audio clips. Original release on Fowl Records, 1982.
