Description

The Future Sound of London
Dead Cities Virgin V2814 UK 1996
Original UK issue. Owned from new since 1997. Played infrequently back then (I had the CD as well) and not at all for almost twenty years, during which time it has been stored carefully. Cleaned with Vinyl Clear cleaning solution and play graded.
Vinyl grade: EX. There are numerous sleeve removal hairlines but these don't affect play. Very little surface noise: a little light crackle in one or two places. The run-in to Side C has a few pops but this stops just after the music starts. Also a couple of pops at the beginning of "Glass" on Side C, caused by a small surface mark. Apart from this the record plays perfectly from start to finish.
Sleeve grade: EX. Minor corner wear. A little light rubbing on the bottom edge. A small crease on the open edge (see photo). Overall it looks lovely and crisp.
Inner sleeve grade: EX. Virtually pristine.
Also includes original mailing list postcard. This has a few light stains on one side (see photo).
Shipped in strong mailer with cardboard stiffeners. Records inside their inners removed from jacket to prevent damage during transit, and all placed in clear plastic resealable sleeve.
