Record appears virtually unplayed and sounds great on my player. Labels have a tiny water mark. Label name is not on the 45 however it has the address of The Cascade Club which was also a recording studio.
The Gems from Walla Walla WA, were a popular dance band that backed up many of the "Big Names" that came through the Pacific Northwest on tours along with their own popular shows. This 45 came from the personal collection of NW Promoter and Booking Agent, Pat Mason.
Pat also owned The Cascade Club (1947-1974) in Springfield Oregon ( a major N.W. agent and promoter (Far West Amusements). Pat booked national acts and N.W. local bands to perform primarily on the weekends. The Cascade Club was mostly closed during the week and served as a recording studio under Lavender Label with layover for traveling bands that Pat was booking. It has been noted that if a recording artist had a record being played on top 40 radio in the 60's they probably performed at The Cascade Club including Gene Vincent, Willie Nelson, Carl Perkins, Clayton Watson and too many others to name) and also at Pat's Wagon Wheel Park.

He chose not to re-open his Tacoma record store after the virus shut down in 2019. He is known locally as an official Northwest Music Historian and has been instrumental in getting some previously unreleased recordings released by a few current labels just for the love of music. Most of these 45's were in Jeff's personal collection for over 40 years.
