Description

The Grateful Dead  "Live/Dead"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on WB 1830  from 1969.     It is a stereo white label promo copy of their fourth album.    This promo was issued in very limited numbers when this record was first issued, thus it is extremely hard to find.     It's a double album.   It comes with the original "Live/Dead" bi-fold insert in mint condition.   

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is M-

The gatefold cover is Mint minus with no ring wear and no seam splits.   There is a tiny name written on the back cover at left.   There are no promo markings on the cover.    The vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The records come in a WB inner sleeves. 

The songs are : Dark Star, St. Stephen, The Eleven, Turn On Your Lovelight, Death Don't Have No Mercy, Feedback, and We Bid You Goodnight.

I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years.  I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.

I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 30 ounces ( 1 pound, 14 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number.      Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )     I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   There are no handling charges.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
