About This Record.  This is a really cool original USA copy of The Grateful Dead's first LP in original Gold Label Warner Brothers Records Stereo format in serviceable shape..  See details below and zoom in on photos.  I just found some cool things on eBay that I've been looking for . . . and now I must pay for them!  I will be selling other vinyl ending on the same day that I will be listing over the next few days.  Keep your eyes out!

Vinyl Condition.  The vinyl is in VG+ shape with some noticeable light marks, not too many, plays EX- mostly but has a few pops and some background noise here and there. No major problems at all.  Just some loving play that is reflected visually on the disc.

Cover Condition.  EX-; Spine and seams are intact; light corner bump bottom right corner and top right corner.  Just a touch of ring wear on front and back cover.  Would grade higher, but Deanna McDaniel wrote her name on the back cover bottom lower right, and the date "1967" bottom far left back cover about 44 years ago!  Pretty tough to upgrade as these things go, as these usually have lots of ring wear and seam/spine splits.  This has been stored carefully by me for decades.

Innsersleeve.  This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and housed in a new dust-free rice paper or similar vinyl-protective sleeve.

Labels.  One side is EX with some spindle marks; other side is VG with a very very small tear and some spindle marks.

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved.  This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine.
