The 100 Greatest Ever Jazz Recordings (Franklin Mint)
A chance to add this ‘Rare COMPLETE Collection’ of 100 Jazz audiophile quality (heavy duty RED vinyl), records to your collection.
These have been in storage for the best part of thirty years. Condition is very good but the odd box is showing a few signs of age, the contents however are mint!
The first box which contains records 1 - 4 also contains a signed letter of authenticity.

You are bidding for a Very Rare Complete Set of 100 LPs of the Franklin Mint Record Society that came out in 1983.
There are 25 boxes in the set and each contains 4 LPs pressed on 'Bright Red High Quality Virgin Vinyl'. Each 4 LP set covers a specific period in Jazz, right from the very start of Jazz Recording up to the 1980s when the set was compiled.
Each box set contains a lavishly illustrated booklet with many rare photos and biographies of the main participating artists with full track listings and discography.
This set is the Institute of Jazz Studies Official Archive Collection, so you can rest assured that the titles on the LPs are representative of the best of each artist. The set is a virtual history of Jazz and is a fascinating document for any Jazz aficionado.
As there are around 1200 + titles in this set, it is impossible to list them, however each transfer sounds as good as it can be and anyone who is familiar with Franklin Mint Editions will know their standard was of the highest quality.
The boxes and LPs are in near mint condition. This set will provide hours and hours of delight and education for the Jazz enthusiast or anyone coming to Jazz for the first time that wishes to learn about a subject spanning the whole of the 20th Century and beyond.

Because of the size and weight (Around 35kgs), postage will be very expensive but will be considered if required. I estimate that a courier charge will be in the region of £35.00 – 40.00 for the UK and considerably more for international postage therefore take this into account if you bid and contact me first for a quote.
