Description
This seven song 12 inch from The Greenhornes is actually a recording of proper studio "demos" from 2004 that were laid down in preparation for what would later become the East Grand Blues EP [2005]. If you are a fan of the band then this recording should be sought out because the sound is perfectly garage rocked up and little rough but the mix by Jack White is exactly what you expect and plays great. Boscobel Blues features a scorching version of James Brown's "I'll Go Crazy" and two songs that recently showed up on the bands recent and excellent release "????", which actually gives some great insight into how long that record was in the works. The Greenhornes once again show off their talent here as this snapshot in time captures their ability to rock out even when nobody is supposedly listening.
Key Tracks: "I'll Go Crazy", "Shelter Of Your Arms", "Pattern Skies"
