Description
THE HAZARDS OF LOVE EP - ANNE BRIGGS
This is an original 1963 EP by Anne Briggs, released on Topic Records (Cat. no. Top 94). It is in superb condition. The record has been played a few times, but not often, and has always been in my ownership. Topic Records included a clear plastic inner sleeve with the record, so it has always been well protected. There are no marks or blemishes on the vinyl - its condition is as good as the day I bought it.
The record sleeve is in excellent condition too. There is a minor crease at one corner of the sleeve and some evidence of 'ringing' due to its storage in a large record collection over many years. Overall, the sleeve is a really good, clean copy.
The EP also came with a small black and white leaflet written by A.L.Lloyd about Anne Briggs and each of the songs. The leaflet is also in excellent condition (see photo).
The songs on the EP are:
Side 1 - Lowlands Away and My Bonny Boy
Side 2 - Polly Vaughan and Rosemary Lane
This EP is probably even harder to obtain than either of Anne Briggs' Topic LP or 'The Time Has Come'. Copies of this quality with the original booklet included will be scarce indeed.
