Description

The Herd - Paradise Lost

(Fontana STL 5458 UK LP 1968)

This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a matt flipback sleeve & comes with its original polythene-lined company (Philips) inner sleeve.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl and has 1Y#-2/ 2Y#-2 matrix stampers. A very good late 1960's UK Mod-Psych-Pop LP. It includes their classic hit "From The Underworld".

Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate fading to the rear sleeve. There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the corner tips. The spine is nice & clean. VG+ condition.

Vinyl: Light to mild sleeve rubs can be seen when viewed under a strong light. There is a cluster of 8-9 hairline marks all on Side 2. These are mainly in one area too. Side 2 is in Good+ condition. Side 1 is in VG+ condition & has only light to mild sleeve rubs. Overall Good++ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear only. Plays VG to VG+ overall. There is light or very mild crackle in some of the quieter passages. The company inner sleeve is in VG- condition. There is some mild to more moderate fading, ringwear & creasing, but there are no seam splits. There is some small writing on one side too.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
