Description
The Hooten Singers Gabriella b/w Darling. United Artists Demo 7" 1965. UP1082.
Hooten Singers was an alternative name for The Hootenanny Singers, a Swedish Folk group featuring Bjorn Ulvaeus, later of ABBA. This Demo disc is undated but the record was released in the UK in 1965.
The matrix numbers are: 45 UP 1082 A-1 45 UP 1082 B with initials KT on side 1 and JR side 2.
The B-side 'Darling' was co-written by Bjorn Ulvaeus although he is miscredited as 'Ulvaneus' on the label.
The record plays fine with no jumps or skips and both sides have a clear audio without crackles.
It would originally have been housed in a red United Artists generic standard company sleeve but this one is in a card protective sleeve.
