Description

An original 1st press of HTMSTP on RCA from 1972. Matrix 2E/3E. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in a 1st issue hexagonal designed cover. Also included is the original hexagonal black inner. We also have a Melody Maker article on the band explaining all from Xmas 1973. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity. As you can imagine only a super-clean copy of this LP is going to do this Celtic-folk-rock proper justice - anything else is just going to impinge on the listeners experience. I am pleased to report that this copy is absolutely top-level. No issues at all just a solid clean player. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All we detected were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. In other words..practically nothing!
Cover (Ex+) A real tricky one to find in perfect order - but this copy looks like it was printed yesterday. Lovely clean front and back without heavy wear or marking. I can only make out one crease and all those intricate die-cut sections are all still sharp and totally unworn. All the interior pages are intact and have not been heavily thumbed. Edge wear is exceptionally light for this title. The spine is almost entirely intact with all text pretty much legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Nice, but a couple of those edges are splitting.
