Description
Up for sale is a unique, early-production copy of The Human Beinz - Nobody But Me, manufactured in Japan by Toshiba. This is a highly collectible transitional copy prepared for radio/advance review before the standard retail gatefold runs were produced.
Key Features of This Copy:
A single-pocket jacket featuring the factory/radio station "Sample Record" stamp across the top front, and the official "Toshiba Records" text and Japanese markings stamped cleanly along the bottom.
Japanese CP-8403 Labels: The paper labels in the center of the record cleanly display the official Japanese catalog number CP-8403.
US First-Stamper Matrix Wax: In the runout dead-wax grooves, the vinyl carries the original US master matrix codes: ST-1-2906-1S & ST2- 2906-2S. This indicates Toshiba pressed this advance run using the earliest generation of original American master plates sent over by Capitol.
Toshiba Red "Everclean" Vinyl: Beautiful, rich ruby-red translucent vinyl formula designed by Toshiba in the late 60s to repel dust and prevent static.
Condition Notes (Please See Pictures):
Vinyl: EXCELLENT. The translucent red wax is in gorgeous shape with a brilliant gloss. Beautiful presentation and plays wonderfully.
Jacket: The thin-cardboard sleeve shows natural yellowish stains/toning from age, which is very common for this specific type of 50+ year old paper stock. No major splits or tears; the "Sample Record" and "Toshiba" stamps remain entirely clear and legible. Please review the photos carefully to judge the aging.
