Description
The Idle Race, The Birthday Party, Liberty LP, Mono, LBL 83132, VG/VG+
General: Since I have converted my vinyl collection to digital I have no further use for the original albums and so I am selling some of them. That is to say, I am not a dealer. I have always been very careful handling my records so the condition of the vinyl is generally good. For most of the time I have owned them, my albums have been stored vertically. I will play every album before listing and record extracts from a couple of tracks, the links to which you will find below. Description: The Idle Race, The Birthday Party, Liberty LP, Mono, LBL 83132 Vinyl: The vinyl is reasonably clean only showing light scuff marks commensurate with normal handling. There is some suface noise and vinyl crackle which you should be able to hear on the extracts below. Also a few clicks: Sitting In My Tree (1m 38s) and Mrs Ward (1m 03s and at the end). I would rate it from VG/VG+. Outer Sleeve: At least VG+ and I'm even prepared to say Excellent. Nothing more than normal wear & tear by one careful owner. Inner Sleeve: White paper with a plastic lining, a bit aged looking but otherwise undamaged. Any other comments: I have owned this album since new (1968!). Kenny Everett was a fan of this album and I was a fan of Kenny Everett. At the risk of contravening copyright laws, here are extracts recorded from the album...
