EX./VG+. Original First Press(1977). 'Go for Your Guns' is the 15th studio album by The Isley Brothers. It is widely considered a landmark work from the group's "3+3" era, featuring a potent blend of hard rock, funk, and soulful ballads.

The album reached #1 on the Billboard Top Soul chart and peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 albums.

The LP features several iconic tracks including, "Footsteps in the Dark": A smooth slow jam famously sampled by Ice Cube for his 1993 hit "It Was a Good Day".
"The Pride": A socially conscious funk anthem that hit #1 on the R&Bcharts.
"Voyage to Atlantis": A standout ballad showcasing Ernie Isley's signature guitar heroics.

'Go for Your Guns' is noted for its "Hendrix like" guitar solos and " thumpin'" funk grooves, marking a peak in the group's creative output during the mid-70s.

The album was recorded at Bearsville Studios in New York, reflecting a move toward a harder, more "rockier" sound than their previous efforts.
