Step back to the exact moment pop culture shifted forever. Before you is an authentic, original US first pressing of Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5, released by Motown Records in December 1969. This isn't just an album, it is the tectonic debut that unleashed an eleven year old Michael Jackson and his brothers upon the world, changing the landscape of American soul and pop music instantly. Driven by the explosive, infectious energy of the iconic chart topper I Want You Back and a legendary cover of Who's Loving You, this specific pressing captures the raw, analog punch of the classic Detroit Motown sound exactly as it was meant to be experienced. The vinyl is preserved with its original vintage purple and blue map label, catalog number MS 700. Visually graded at Very Good (VG), the vinyl displays some superficial paper scuffs and light hairlines consistent with age, but it retains a brilliant gloss that promises to deliver that warm, unmistakable analog nostalgia on your turntable. The original jacket is graded at Very Good (VG) with minor corner wearing and light edge creasing that adds to its authentic, decades old charm. It comes complete with its original vintage Motown company promotional inner sleeve, making this an incredible, display ready addition to any serious soul, funk, or Michael Jackson collection.
