This is one of the most talked about items within the Mike Read Collection. It has become a star in its own right apprearing on Sky News and BBC News plus local and national radio, not to mention at least three national newspapers. This gem of an item will make the perfect Xmas gift not just for a record collector, but for any fan of music or follower of popular culture. Both sides are marked with an A as it still hadn't been decided what track was to go on the A side. The collection boasts thousands of items compiled over many years by the legendary DJ and Broadcaster Mike Read. Following the live auction held in London at the end of November where his numerous music publications, celebrity photos and bulk lots of vinyl were sold, we are now selling the highly sought after and much publicised gems from his collection.
In addition to the individual listings we will also be selling more lots of 7” singles and demos. We are currently working on the basis that most vinyl collections are built around a specific genre whether that is punk, beat, soul etc; we are therefore lotting together many fantastic items by genre.
