The Jam The Butterfly Collector b/w Strange Town U.S Pressing Black Vinyl Stock Copy
If you are a serious Jam collector you will know this is one of the most collectable and rare items available. This is the American pressing which was sold into U.S retailers. Polydor had previously sent out promo versions pressed on yellow vinyl in quite large quantities to radio and TV stations and retailers to gain a reaction. However the reaction was pretty poor and only a few retailers actually stocked the record. It is thought that less than 100 copies actually exist now.
I have been collecting The Jam since 1977 and I have only ever seen this item in the flesh once.
This is a rare opportunity to own this piece and I hope it goes to a good home. I am starting the auction at a very reasonable £20.
