Here is your opportunity to own the Yer' Album from The James Gang. This was the 1st studio album from James Gang. This was the first and only to be titled The James Gang instead of James Gang. This album also introduced us to Average Joe. This would be the first of three outstanding James Gang albums that Joe Walsh would helm. This album is outstanding and it gives you a preview of Walsh's immense talent. You can even hear a message in the locked run out grooves of each side. Side one has Walsh whispering "Turn me Over". Side two has Walsh saying "Play Me Again". If you have never heard this album, you owe to yourself to hear it on vinyl. This LP is the very 1st pressing on BluesWay ABC Records from 1969. This particular LP has BLS 6034 A LW SS as the matrix number etched in the dead wax, on side one. Side two of the LP has BLS 6034 LW SS 44 etched on the dead wax. The vinyl visually is in Excellent/Very Good Plus Condition. The LP has a some light hairline scratches and a few paper scuffs. The blemishes have little affect on the playback quality. The sound quality on the playback is Excellent. The LP labels have a few light spindle marks on each side. This album also contains the original BluesWay company inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is in good condition with some splitting in the middle of each seam. The LP gatefold cover is in Excellent/Very Good Plus condition. The cover has some light ring wear on the front and back of the cover. The ring wear is more prominent on the front of the cover. The back of the cover also has a small X scratched in the lower left corner. The seams and spine have a minor amount of wear. The spine has the most wear on the leading edge. The BLS in the catalog number also has a wear line through it. The spine is completely legible beyond the wear line. All of the corners have a touch of rounding. The inside of the gatefold cover is in outstanding condition. This album has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and will be shipped in a brand new white inner sleeve. The album will come in a new 3 mil poly sleeve. The album will be professional shipped in an LP mailer with two 12 inch cardboard inserts. The LP will be positioned outside of the gatefold jacket when shipped. This album is ready for playing or storage. Please let me know if you have any questions.
