Description
Original Jazz Couriers releases are almost impossible to find, so this is a rare opportunity to add one to your collection.
The red hot British jazz combo who recorded this 1958 EP on the collectable Tempo label comprised Tubby Hayes and Ronnie Scott on tenor saxes, Terry Shannon (piano), Phil Bates (bass) and Bill Eyden (drums).
The flipback laminated sleeve is in very decent condition with just half an inch of curve and laminate lift at the opening edge.
The vinyl has one or two non-feelable marks and after a little surface noise on the run-in plays VG++ to excellent on the audio.
The labels are in nice condition, with just a neat '1' and '2' written on each side to denote the A and B sides.
VERY hard to find, likely to increase in value, and great music from the cream of British modern jazz in the golden 50s/60s era.
