Description
The Jazz Messengers with Art Blakey, Horace Silver & Hank Mobley “At The Cafe Bohemia Volume 2” 1958 3rd (?) pressing Blue Note (# BLP 1508 mono) in a coated cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Very Good Plus (VG+). On Side 1/track 3 very early in the track there is ~15 second faint “static sounding” tick. There is no visible scratch, it’s something in the groove, but it only occurs for a very short time. The remainder of the track as well as the entire album plays EX with great fidelity and no ticks. That faint tick on S1/track 3 is the only reason for my grade, other than that, I’d grade the album EX overall. The following is on the runout groove:

The outer case is also Very Good Plus (VG+). The glossy front cover is clean with very mild age wear and a few small, faint stains at the top. The back cover is clean like the front with only some stains at the top and very mild age wear. The blank spine has just a little wear at the top. The top & bottom seams have some mild wear mostly at the corners and opening. It is very sturdy with no splits. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.
NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
