Description
The Jazz Messengers, Live at Cafe Bohemia Vol. 2 (1956, Blue Note) VG, 1st Press
Artist: The Jazz Messengers
Album: Live at Cafe Bohemia, Volume 2
Description: Original mono 1st pressing on Blue Note from 1956. Absolute classic hard bop album - great Messengers lineup. Has all the hallmarks of a first pressing. RVG etch, "ear" in dead wax, Lexington address, flat edge, deep groove. Has original sleeve as well, laminated with blank spine.
Sleeve Condition: G+, worst damage is at the bottom. Has full split of bottom edge and some paper loss on the back in the same area. Corners have some rounding and some light general wear, but this displays much better than it's true grade.
Vinyl: Strong VG, has several light scuffs. No major gashes or real feelable scratches at all. Play tested and sounds really good. There is some light crackle in spots, especially at the first of each side, but sounds really good overall. There are no places where the noise really interferes with the music. Has that gorgeous, warm Blue Note sound. Labels have some very light wear, no writing or tears.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
Check out my other listings, I've got several music lots up for sale. Everything from jazz to new wave to obscure rap - vinyl and CDs. Please mark me as a favorite seller if you like what you see. I have bunch of stuff to get rid of. Good luck and happy bidding!!
