Description
The Jazz Messengers with Art Blakey, Horace Silver & Hank Mobley “At The Cafe Bohemia Volume 1” 1957 2nd pressing (no Inc., no ® on the labels) Blue Note (# BLP 1507 mono) in a coated cardboard sleeve. The record grading is Excellent (EX). It plays very well with excellent fidelity and hardly any discernible background noise and no ticks. Visually, it’s very clean with a nice luster and hardly any visible marks. The following is on the runout groove:

NOTES:

* There is no Inc., no ® on the labels which indicate a 1957 issue; the 1959 release had them on the labels.

* 767 Lexington address on side 1 label, 47 West 63rd label side 2.

* Deep groove both sides, RVG etched, Plastylite P.

* The cover is coated but not laminated.

The outer case is Very Good Plus (VG+). The glossy front cover is clean with mild age wear and a few tiny marks at the top. The back cover is clean like the front with only some stains at the top and very mild age wear. The blank spine has ~4” “crack” at the top. The top & bottom seams have some mild wear mostly at the corners and opening. It is very sturdy with no splits. (all reflected in the photos) All sales final.

NOTE: This album will ship with the inner sleeve & record OUTSIDE of the cover as to prevent any possible seam damage to the cover during shipment. Both the album cover and the inner sleeve & vinyl will be contained within a plastic protective sleeve inside of the shipping box with padding on top & bottom
