Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have copies of The Jeff Beck Group's first two lp's 'Truth' and 'Beck Ola'.
Truth:
The record is a stereo first pressing on the blue and black columbia labels.
Cat no SCX 6293. The matrix info: YAX 3706 -1 / YAX-3707-1
Grading :
Truth:
The flipback cover is in EX condition with very minor signs of wear but no writing, stains, tears, rips etc. The rear of the cover is clean and the spine is perfect with fully readable text.
The record is in VG+ condition with just some odd moments of surface cackle.
Beck Ola:
The record is a stereo first pressing on the one boxed columbia labels.
Cat no SCX 6351. The matrix info: YAX 3870 -1 / YAX-3871-2
Grading :
The flimsy flipback cover is in VG condition with a later price sticker, some cellotape tape along the opening edge front and back and some rub wear around the extremities. There is also some faint doodling on the 'B' 'O' and 'a' of Beck-Ola on the front cover which looks quite good but I suppose they're not meant to be there so I better mention it! The rear of the cover is very clean.
The record is in EX condition with hardly any surface noise. A handful of non intrusive pops makes this the ultimate way to Jeff Beck's ground breaking guitar sound.
Please also check my other albums for sale at the moment. I'm also trying to list between 3-5 every Sunday night so please come back and check.
If your the winning bidder could you please wait for invoice since the final price may mean I need to charge added postage. I do not post to Russia and eastern block nations due to the post office not offering an affordable track and trace service. If your bidding from outside the UK I will only post via Track and signed methods with a price ranging from £11 - £20 depending on country and value of item.
I'm selling lots more lps over the coming months from artists like Jimi Hendrix , The Beatles , Cream , The Rolling Stones, The Who , The Yardbirds , The Small Faces , Van Morrison , The Grateful Dead , Jefferson Airplane , Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention , Fleetwood Mac , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Black Sabbath , Oasis , Nirvana , Blur , etc plus lots of rare one-off lps.
