Very early 1st U.S. Mono version of The Jimi Hendrix Experience Are You Experienced? with a slightly different track selection than the UK version. The US version of the album plays "Hey Joe", "Purple Haze" and "The Wind Cries Mary", instead of "Remember", "Red House" and "Can You See Me" which are found on the UK version. Original cardboard paste over cover with the small Mono banners and catalog number R-6261 remains in the original factory shrink wrap with breathe holes. Original 1st print tri-color Reprise Records labels with the old riverboat original Reprise logo, catalog number R-6261, large "Mono" banner and "Made in U.S.A. Warner Bros. Records, Inc." text at the bottom. The album comes with an original Reprise Records "To Play And Play Again!" inner sleeve containing the other Reprise release adverts.

The vinyl pressed at the Modern Album, Terre Haute, IN plant has the very early matrix numbers: SIDE 1: 10681 R-6261-A  1-B 1  T / SIDE 2 - 10682 R-6261-B  1-C-1  T.  The cover is graded as Excellent Plus and just has some very light age discoloration in a couple of spots and a light hint of ring wear at the top and bottom. The original Reprise Records inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. I grade the vinyl as strong Very Good Plus due to it having some very light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve which are non-feelable and don't affect the playback in any way. The clean labels are wear and scuff-free and only have a couple of light spindle marks visible under a strong light source.
