THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE AXIS: BOLD AS LOVE LP REPRISE RS-6281 LP OUTER SLEEVE: VG (lower end of VG....gatefold sleeve with glossy black paper inside gatefold....general ageing/shelf/edge-rubs from storage, mostly at edges; has a 4" split top left back sleeve - top end opening on this sleeve; has a small 19 written front upper left ...see photos) LP: VG (play tested this LP 3-times....has light surface marks/hairlines with a couple smaller lightly feelable spots; has a surface scuff spot center of T2, S2 with one more of same center of T5, S2....plays on my Denon with some faint light surface crackle spots and a couple light tic spots at noted hairlines) LABEL: VG++ (....faint spindle marks S1 with a few more of same S2, moreso S1 though....see photos)

• OUTER SLEEVE:  VG  (lower end of VG....gatefold sleeve with glossy black paper inside gatefold....general ageing/shelf/edge-rubs from storage, mostly at edges; has a 4" split top left back sleeve - top end opening on this sleeve; has a small 19 written front upper left ...see photos)
• INNER SLEEVE:  Original Reprise company sleeve - yellowing type ageing to white paper of inner sleeve - I will ship with a new anti-static sleeve as well....see photos
• LP:  VG  (play tested this LP 3-times....has light surface marks/hairlines with a couple smaller lightly feelable spots; has a surface scuff spot center of T2, S2 with one more of same center of T5, S2....plays on my Denon with some faint light surface crackle spots and a couple light tic spots at noted hairlines - any questions, please ask)

Grading (PLEASE READ SO THERE ARE NO SURPRISES)

All records are carefully graded. In an attempt to give customers an accurate impression of condition rather than adhere to somewhat arbitrary criteria, I give an "overall presentation" grade, supplemented when necessary with additional remarks (which is more often than not). Please refer to my grading system below for a more detailed explanation as well as my general comments above in the grading description.  Most items will be play-graded and/or sampled.

GRADING DESCRIPTIONS

Records:

• Sealed:  still factory sealed….any defects will be noted
• Mint: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects
• Near Mint/M-:  Extremely nice….generally any defects will be superficial and will be detailed
• VG++ or EX:  Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like
• VG+: A nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops
• VG: A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, and even a possible skip.
• VG-: A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has skipping and snap, crackle, pop
• Good: Probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, skips etc.
• Fair: You're getting this record just to own – generally listed due to rarity regardless of condition
• Poor: The sky's the limit as far as condition in the negative sense – generally listed due to rarity regardless of condition

COVERS:

There are really too many possible defects regarding covers to be as specific in my definitions as I had been with my record grades. But please keep in mind these general grading guidelines as I will use the above grading format with general specific comments as to condition, etc.
