Description
For sale is The Jimi Hendrix Experience's Electric Ladyland, originally released in 1968 by Polydor Records, and presented in a beautiful gate-fold presentation. This was made in the U.K. with the unclothed ladies on the cover and then imported into the U.S. However, the American release had an alternate cover because the original one was banned as being too explicit. That made this version very rare. I bought this new and immediately put this album, like all my records, in protective inner sleeves. This keeps the original inner sleeve(s) in a near mint condition! There are no original inner sleeves with this listing. The cover is Excellent with edge rubs and corner rubs. The spine is also Excellent with just a little bit of color loss. The labels are Near Mint. The vinyl is Near Mint. It's been played on only Audiophile equipment over the years and still has a lot of life left. This is the best copy of this album that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. Please take a look at my other listings in my Ebay store. I have records of all genres and they're all Near Mint. Thanks for viewing my listing. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative. I offer discounts for multiple sales. Photos are of the actual item for sale, not a stock photo. Please review all descriptions and photos because I do not accept returns. Thank you for looking!
