The Jimi Hendrix Experience vinyl LP Axis: Bold As Love.
Thinning out part of my LP collection, if only to make room for those I keep buying. These albums have generally been mine from new, and have always been kept stored vertically and indoors: no damp garage storage here!
This album is an enigma to me; I bought it from a record fair in Bromsgrove in the 80's, and the fair was run by a guy who was a BBC Local Radio DJ. So: The sleeve has "Promotional Copy Not For Resale" stamped onto the rear. The vinyl is on the Track label but is made by Polydor Int GmbH. The stampers are A1/B1, but the weight of the album is certainly not right for a 1967 pressing.
Condition: the vinyl is very good and the sleeve is too; what stops the sleeve being excellent is a small scratch on the front, and very faintly stamped in one of the sun rays is "Radio Stoke 49".
The sleeve is gatefold with the front image at 90deg.
