Description
This is a mid-6o's release on Capitol Records catalog# T 2078 MONO. Obviously The Kickstands are a group of LA session players concocted to dream up this fad induced LP of songs about motorcycles instead of cars. Gary Usher is behind most of the songwriting. It all sounds like surf music. Jan & Dean or Beach Boys influenced vocal numbers and some Ventures inspired instrumentals. The cover of the record looks cool and that is probably why I bought it. That and I was hoping to uncover at least one hot instrumental track. The final track called "Scrambler" was almost exactly that. Fuzz guitars pretty decent tune! The vinyl is in VG+ shape. Really shiny and clean. Labels are the classic Capitol rainbow labels and they are clean and tight as well. The cover is VG+ to NM it is still in it's original shrink wrap. If this style of music is you bag, then this is for you!
