'On May 18th Brandon Flowers released “The Desired Effect”, the second solo album from The Killers frontman and the follow up to “Flamingo”. The album includes the first single, Can’t Deny My Love, which premiered on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show in the ‘First & Exclusive’ play. Recorded at Battle Born Studios in Las Vegas, and at Heavy Duty and Vox Studios in Los Angeles, Flowers is joined by a stellar cast of iconic musicians including The Dirty Projectors’ Angel Deradoorian and Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant. Produced by Ariel Rechtshaid who did the Haim album and has worked with Madonna, Kylie, Vampire Weekend, Usher.The album shows Flowers reaching a new level of song writing confidence and having a whole heap of fun in the process. 4 Star in Q Magazine, 4 Star in Mojo Magazine. LP will be released in June! Live tour in May and also TV appearances confirmed so far include Graham Norton Show and BBC Breakfast. Radio 2 Jo Whiley Special Week of release.
