Recorded Live at Capitol Theater 8/26/78 as well as Winterland New Years 1970-1971 with Pigpen and 1971 Felt Forum with PigpenRecorded Live at Capit Incrediblly rare copy of The Killers - Goodbye!!!   This is the original Uruguay pressing - De La Planta label KL 8327 - of an LP that just NEVER shows up.  The sleeve is in pretty good condition with edge and ring wear and small writing on the back.   Vinyl in good to VG - plays with surface noise but still sounds great - great labels and spindles - small letter on one label.   Featured in Hans Pokora Record Collector Dreams 3001, page 131 and rated as 4 stars - means US$500 upwards!!!  Extremely scarce and last seen on EBay in 2006!!!  
It is great psychedelic rock that sounds sometimes a bit like Cream.  Coming from one of the most exclusive and selected neighborhoods from Montevideo, The Killers began their music career by the late 60’s playing live gigs.  Their high social level, and therefore their relationships with foreigners and some diplomatists’ sons living in the country, made it possible for them to instantly access to most of the UK or USA late releases (something that some other Uruguayan musicians of the time couldn’t even dream of).  That helped them to develop a sound highly influenced by the finest international tendencies of the moment.  By 1970 they released their first PS single whose highlight is their version of Cream’s White Room, but it’s just in 1972 when they achieved to record their first and only LP Good Bye released by the independent label De La Planta.  A well recorded and produced album, entirely sung in English, and highly West Coast influenced.  Features superb fuzz leads, precise keyboards & drums job, and cool female backing vocals.  Ten tracks, all self-penned compositions except for Rare Earth’s Born to Wonder & Stephen Stills’ Love The One You’re With.  All in all just incredibly good songs that should have deserved a wider audience at the time... Real Cool Stuff!!
