I am not a record grader but I am a collector so I will do my best please use the pictures to make your decision. This is a MEGA rare northern soul 45. This group only seems to have made two records and on a small label with very few copies made. This is a record of two sides. Hi note is beautiful with a couple very lite surface marks I did not hear anything when listening and it was amazing this side has vocals. Summertime is where most of the issues you see in the pictures are there is a group of very lite surface scratches against the gloves plus a few other scratches one can be felt with a finger tip. There are also a patch of marks that are kind of round ish I think it is something on the record and maybe will come off with a ultra sonic cleaning but I am not sure what they are. They are audible for about the first 20-30 seconds of the song but it did not skip or jump on my dual record player. Unfortunately there are virtually no comps for this record but I did find some message boards talking about it and a VG- copy sold for 350 and someone said they saw a copy for sale for 3500 and it was no longer available who knows what it actually sold for. I would say Hi Note is a very strong VG+ maybe better but summertime is at best VG but if those spots cleaned off it could be a low end VG+. If you want a copy of this then this may be your only chance!
