Description

From personal collection being sold due to down sizing

Original 1968 stereo press of The Kinks The Village Green Preservation Society on Pye Records

Side A matrix: NSPL 18233A-3 ✳T STEREO

Side B matrix: NSPL 18233B-4 ✳T STEREO

Vinyl is a conservative VG+ but it’s visually great with just a couple of feint hairlines under strong light. There is some light background static but the music and vocals are clear, crisp and clean (see pictures for labels and some shots of vinyl)

Sleeve is also VG+ (see pictures)

The only point to note here is that the record is the original stereo first press, whilst the gatefold sleeve is an original mono edition.
