Description
Here we have Raymond Douglas Davies and The Kinks with MUSWELL HILLBILLIES on the original 1971 vinyl LP RCA SF 8243. It’s housed in a gate fold sleeve, and is very clean and collectable.

It’s a lovely clean disc. I’d rate it as a VERY STRONG VG++ or better and reckon that the sleeve is a STRONG VG+
My filthy finger (see photo) indicates a bit of ring wear which, curiously, is green in colour. My dear good friend Mr “Diz” Kogz has an example of the UK sleeve pictured on his site, with exactly the same green mark.
It must be a phenomenon shared by many of these early UK pressings.
It plays beautifully and is one of the Davies brothers less renowned albums, but a jolly fine one, all the same.
I am not a dealer.
I am just an old bloke thinning out his lifetime collection of STUFF before the floor collapses, or I do.
I'm selling most of this stuff for much less than I paid for it.
What a great business plan (I don't think)!
