Description
I will be listing 50 or so classic rock/prog albums, all of which have come from a very well looked after collection. Most of which have been stored in plastic sleeves which would explain the remarkable condition of many of the sleeves, some of which are as close to mint as you could get.
Some great titles to be listed, including Hawkwind, Yes, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Santana, Free Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. Many of them 1st pressings in timewarp condition.
This auction is for a superb and incredibly rare copy of The Kinks 5th studio album Something Else By The Kinks from 1967 on Pye Records - NPL 18193.
Not many of these 1st Mono pressings about and they are much coveted and highly sought after.

This is their 5th studio album released in Sept 1967.
Price reflects the stunning condition and rarity.
This is a superb record, very rare and very sought after in this condition. Both vinyl and sleeve are in great condition, vinyl a notch above the sleeve.
Vinyl is: Shiny and glossy and it has been well looked after
Side A - Excellent+ - Barely a mark seen even in strong light.
Side B - Excellent - Small/light surface/paper scratch over side 2 and a few light sleeve scuffs but nothing that effects play.
Laminated Cover - VG+. Slight ring wear, minor edgewear along top and bottom, pinched spine with wear top and bottom and repair to fold over card bottom right (See Images)
The inner sleeve is excellent

The overall condition of this record is excellent, if it was a laminate cover then it would probably have made it this far in better condition but these thick card types will show wear more easily and the silver shows up wear as well but this could easily be restored to an Excellent+ grade with some time and effort spent on it.
