Something Else By The Kinks

1967 Pye Records NPL 18193 (UK)
Matrix Nos:  Side 1 NMPL 18193A – 1*M / side 2 NMPL 19183-B1*M and crossed out NPL 191831-1-*M

Condition Record:  VG  Generally plays better but was showing slight signs of vinyl rash starting on the run out (and light background noise on final track both sides and especially on run out ), still bright and shiny.  Very light background noise on track changeovers in places, but its a loud cut and music remains clear and loud.  Plenty of spindle marks - has been played but looks to be relatively carefully.  Was my copy for the last 25 years (and played sparingly to be fair) and can confirm caught what looks to be the vinyl rash in time and there has been no further degradation in a proper poly sleeve during my ownership.   All mentioned to ensure no surprises, its actually quite a nice copy, and only selling as replaced with a stunning near mint.
Sleeve:  VG and as seen in the photographs
I use record collector grading but also add a + and - where necessary since their grading standard can be too simplistic.

Mint (M): The record is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.; Please note I normally use Near Mint since unless sealed there will always be a minor imperfection!

Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Fair (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

Poor (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
