Description

You are bidding on an extremely rare PYE Kinks 1964 UK pressed promo. the legendary break through hit for the Kinks You Really Got Me b/w It's Allright PYE 7N 15673. When I bought this promo nearly 40 years ago I was told it originated from the former Radio Caroline record library. Whilst I can't prove this, The date stamp of the Aug. 7th 1964 on the A side is consistent with a record library 45. Interestingly the date is is three days after oft quoted release date. The 4th was aTuesday, singles were routinely released on a Thursdays and Fridays in the UK until well into the '80s. could this be the original release date? The UK promo 45 will be shipped in a strong purpose made mailer. Will ship Worldwide at cost. U.K. next day delivery at £7.25 (next day delivery) - Payment by PayPal only.
