 THE KINKS - 'THE KINKS'

This rare pressing of their debut LP is a 1965 German 1st stereo pressing on the Vogue label: NPL 18096

Both labels state 'MONO' but the disc plays in STEREO.

Matrix numbers: PDT 121021 A-3/83021-A & PDT 121021 B-4 S/8(0)3021-B

The 'PDT' matrices on each side have been scratched out. The '83...' numbers are hand-etched.

This LP was originally supplied with this UK-printed, front laminated, flipback STEREO cover.
This was essentially a mono cover with stereo stickers on front & rear panels which are present on this example

CONDITION

Disc:

Visual: VERY GOOD -

Clean & glossy with many light wispy marks & hairlines but nothing deep or feelable. A small name is written on each label.

Audio: VERY GOOD

Played many times but with care and apart from a little vinyl background in quieter passages there is little to fault audibly.
There is no groove/playwear distortion or any clicks, pops, jumps or any other major faults.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

Clean, glossy & fully intact with just minor shelf/storage wear.
The only notable blemish is a small name written on the rear panel.
