Description

For sale is one copy of the Lees Of Memory's debut album, Sisyphus Says, on starburst colored vinyl. The starburst vinyl was limited to 100 copies and sold out during pre-order. The copy you are bidding on is sealed and unplayed; unwrapped copy is my personal copy and was photographed for documentation purposes. (Personally, I'm playing the heck out of my copy, and hopefully you will too!)

If you're a fan of John Davis and Brandon Fisher's former band (Superdrag), you'll love The Lees of Memory; it's a natural progression of their previous band's pop sound, but gives a lot more attention to some of the underlying shoegaze-y tendencies that never quite got explored with Superdrag's concise power pop.

Tennessee’s The Lees of Memory consists of Nick Slack and both John Davis and Brandon Fisher of Superdrag. The upcoming album, Sisyphus Says, is filled with keening melodies and harmonic colors. Big guitars and drums are layered over with lush organs, synths and pianos, pedal steel and tanpura, Tauras pedals, and 12-strings, topped with a veneer of breathy, heart0on-the-sleeve vocals drenched in reverb. First single, “We Are Siamese” unleashes the loud and atmospheric side of the band.
