Description

This is a beautiful original release of the hard to find 2nd album by The Left Banke.  The vinyl is in near mint condition except for some superficial swirly looking surface marks that do not affect the playing or the sound at all.  I listened to the entire album and it sounded perfect.  No hisses, pops or skips on my stereo.  The jacket is in very good condition with the only problem being a small hole in the upper left corner and some wear along the bottom seam that has been reinforced by some clear tape that is hardly noticable but must be mentioned nonetheless.  The songs are lush and beautifully bittersweet with dreamy ethereal vocals.  The Left Banke had a unique sound that was a well-crafted blend of rock and classical influences.  This and their first album are both great examples of that type of sound.  I saw them live once at my high school around 1968 and they were a great rock band without any of the studio orchestrated effects added.  A very cool relic!

Songs include Goodbye Holly, There's Gonna Be A Storm, Sing Little Bird Sing, Nice To See You, Give The Man A Hand, Bryant Hotel, Desiree, Dark Is The Bark, In The Morning Light, My Friend Today.

I am willing to ship internationally if you are willing to pay the postage, which can get kind of expensive.
