This is the first reissue, in 1970, of the hideously rare 'Blues From The Roundhouse' on Doug Dobell's 77 Records. That one was a limited edition of only 99 copies. This Folklore release, also a Doug Dobell label, was as far as I know, the only other LP release of this material. Some tracks did come out on 2 EPs, both of which are impossible to find. This is the beginnings of British Blues, and is essential listening for those who think the Stones and the Yardbirds started it all in the UK. The record is in really excellent shape with full gloss with no evident scratches or blemishes. I cleaned it with my Nitty Gritty record cleaner, really just to remove a little dust. The cover is very good, although there is a small green sticker on the front, and the lamination has bubbled the front just by the spine. This is visible in the photo. The lamination lift is visible for most of the spine, extending in about 1/4 inch, except for one patch where it extends inward for about 3/4 of an inch, but about 2 and one half inches high.The seams of the jacket are good, although there is a very small blemish at the top left hand corner (just above the sticker, and the spine has a small - about one eight of an inch - tear just below the sticker. I am happy to ship overseas and will work with the buyer to select whichever particular service he or she desires. The buyer to pay all shipping costs. In other words, DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL SHIPPING IS COSTED AND AGREED TO BY BOTH PARTIES.
