This auction is for a very gently used 12” vinyl LP. This extremely rare album is by the Minneapolis funk and soul group The Lewis Connection. It features Prince playing guitar and singing backup vocals on one track “Got To Be Something Here”. This privately pressed, self-titled album was released in 1979 and is said to be Prince’s first recording. This is the real deal, right down to the misspelling of their name on the jacket.

The bright and shiny vinyl is in near mint condition with just a couple extremely superficial scuffs and scratches. The jacket is in very good condition. There is some light wear to the surfaces and edges. There is a two inch seam split at the center of the bottom seam.
