Underappreciated 2m 40s gem of girl group garage pop, produced by superstar producer Mark Ronson. I don’t know why this wasn’t a big hit single. It should have been. The Like (NY It-girls, friends of Alexa Chung and Katie Perry) might or might not have now split up, or possibly be on a lengthy hiatus. This vinyl single – their last released - was put out in a limited edition of only 500 copies, and this one was signed by all four members of the band at the time (Elizabeth “Z” Berg, Tennessee Thomas, Annie Monroe & Laena Geronimo) when they performed at the much-missed Pure Groove record store in Farringdon, London. Apparently, they wrote this song about jumped up joker Johnny Borrell.
