Description

Information on the Lions is, to put it mildly, sketchy. This appears to be the only record they released under that name. It also seems to be the only ever release in Jamaica on the Walt label. When it was released in the UK in 1977, it was once again a one-off - as far as I know, the Truth and Rights label put out this and no other 45. To make matters even more confusing, the writer changes from "Raggie" on the JA pressing to the group on the UK, while the producer changes identity from "Lewis" to "L.Bent". To my ears, the vocals here aren't the greatest and the lyrics are pretty standard Seventies Rasta fare, but the rhythm's a steppers killer and the dub's pretty neat -
