hi,i am totally new to selling on ebay but am very experienced in selling vinylprivately and through a shop in the past. i hope potential customers will giveme the benefit of the doubt as i have no feedback as yet but am totally honestand grade as precisely as i can. any problems then returns are happily acceptedbut i do insist that all items be sent with a signature as through my researchi have found there to be a few issues with items going missing on ebay whensold so hopefully a signature will resolve that and everything will go smoothly. :) ok, on with the auction.
this is one of a couple of rare releases from the great band “thelocomotive” that im currently listing, which are quite hard to find in goodshape now-a-days. This is their debut release which was issued back in 1967 ondirection and was their only release on this very underrated label. The titletrack is “broken heart” and the b-side is the great “rudy – a message to you”which is a much covered reggae ska classic. The vinyl is in wonderful conditionwith a beautiful sheen to it as it is ex-shop stock and has sat un-touched andun-played for over 40 years. There are a few light marks at the very start ofthe b-side which don’t the affect play at all of this beat ska number, whichhas Hammond organbacking. The a-side is a nice mod soul track which has brassy elements. it hasclean labels excepting a small name in pen on the centre of the a-side and adate stamp for the year after the supposed official release date, and the four-prongedpush-out centre is also intact.
