TITLES: Every Man A King / Follow Long
CONDITION: E+
DESCRIPTION: Recorded in January 1935 in New Orleans, this is a rare disc by a vocal trio extolling the virtues of "The Kingfish", Huey P. Long, the flamboyant Louisiana politician whose rising popularity during the Great Depression was fueling a possible Presidential run for later in the year. Interesting historical disc sung in the style of "rah-rah" pep rallies at college football games. Long's ambitions would never come to fruition as he would be assassinated in September.
