Description
1) Presentation is excellent. There's 2 booklets. One has a long essay outlining the history of the group and recordings, and also with all song lyrics in English andJapanese. The other has nice color reproductions of all their album covers and a bunch of 45 jackets and movie posters and stuff like that.
2) Sonics are very good. Like all the issues of their stuff before the last Buddha comp, these do not sound like they were sourced from the original master tapes, but they still sound nice and to be honest I prefer the sound on these to that on the Buddha comp which to me has a bit of a thin/bright feel. Stereo stuff of course, not mono single mixes etc which is too bad but par for the course for their stuff.
I think for completists/fanatics for the band, this would be a no-brainer, a very nicely done set.
