Description
The MAR-KETS 1962 Surfer's Stomp "Lets Go TRIPPIN" California Early SURF RECORD.
original 1962 surf instrumental album from Southern California. The Mar-Kets played up and down the Southern California coast at small music venues, Balboa pavilion and other Southern California music venues were music outlet especially when surf music was all the rage in the early 1960s. Surf Instrumentsl groups were goofy "sqaures" white (guys) teenagers started surf bands were common during this time - a uniquely Southern California social phenomenon ... Most of the surf groups were just that, surf bands who really did not actually surf the SoCAL coastline along PCH. .... of course, Dick Dale blew that all apart and lived the lifestyle by actually surfing SoCal surf breaks ( see my Dick Dale listings)* This album and other surf albums come directly out of Southern California about several miles from beaches of Socal ..
Looks like a little handled record and cover. small red tab sticker from previous owner's catalog system. One could not help find this in better condition outside of a still sealed copy.
